We are so proud of her for graduating on the President's List with a 4.0 GPA and beginning a career serving others.

We Proudly Present Surgical Technology Graduate Terry Wadington

“Your power is in your knowledge,” says Rockford Career College graduate Terry Wadington. “The more knowledge you obtain, the more power you have to make a difference.” Once he was ready for a new career, Terry did not hesitate to gather all the knowledge he could. After enrolling in our Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology program, he studied carefully and developed his practical skills. His dedication allowed him to graduate on our President's List with a 4.0 GPA.

By enrolling in our CNC and robotic manufacturing technology program, Zafolyn proved that attaining her dream was possible. Meet Our Online Student Services Officer Saraliz Jimenez

Saraliz Jimenez is proud to be our Online Student Services Officer. She has 20 years’ worth of experience in higher education and comes from College of DuPage. Saraliz started her education career as an admissions representative. For the last 6 years, Saraliz has been advising and mentoring students as the manager of the Latino Outreach Center. She was recognized by our former Lieutenant Governor as a community leader and completed a master's degree in counseling from National Louis University. Saraliz grew up in the USA but is originally from Venezuela.

Labor Day 2021

“Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers,” according to History.com. In the late 1800s, “despite restrictions in some states, children as young as 5 or 6 toiled in mills, factories and mines across the country.” Many Americans “often faced extremely unsafe working conditions, with insufficient access to fresh air, sanitary facilities and breaks. On September 5, 1882, 10,000 workers took unpaid time off to march from City Hall to Union Square in New York City, holding the first Labor Day parade in U.S. history.

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” These words from Confucius inspired Leydi Salgado to keep progressing on her chosen career path despite the challenges.1 At Rockford Career College, Leydi put her all into studying and developing her practical skills. Her hard work paid off when she graduated on our Dean's List. All of us at RCC are proud of Leydi for overcoming the obstacles and becoming a medical assistant.

After enrolling in Rockford Career College's human resource administration program, Mary applied herself and never lost sight of her goal. We are extremely proud of her for graduating on our President's List with a 4.0 GPA and beginning the career she always wanted.
