DATE On June 11, 2021

When it comes to career progression, Keyahna knows that you have to affect the change you desire. “Complain and remain or believe and achieve!” she says. Enrolling in our program was the first step she took toward achieving her career goals. We are very proud of Keyahna Rountree who graduated on the Dean’s List from Rockford Career College's business administration program.

What You Learn in a Business Administration Program

For each graduate of a program, we highlight three different courses. During the program, Keyahna acquired the depth of knowledge needed.  Keyahna took courses such as: Microsoft Outlook & Office Communication, Managing Change, Leading Continuous Improvement in Operations, and more.

In these courses, she learned about:
• Sending and responding to email; maintaining the Calendar; scheduling meetings; creating tasks; writing good news, bad news, claims, and persuasive correspondence; composing resumes and letters appropriate for job seeking and application; and practicing skills for job interviews and business reports
• Forces that drive organizations to change, impediments to change, and a range of approaches for making organizational change more effective
• Problem identification and definition; analysis of root causes; generation and evaluation of achievable solutions; process documentation; identification of opportunities to reduce effort, waste, and cost; and development of improved processes using Lean processing concepts

How Our Graduate Entered Business Administration

Like Keyahna, you too could enter business administration in just a matter of months and start your career journey in this interesting and necessary profession. All of these courses are offered online for your convenience. Even if you have professional or family obligations, you could still earn your diploma and make a career change.
