We Proudly Present Business Administration Graduate Athena Carson

“Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” Although it is unclear whether this famous quote should be attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson, Muriel Strode, or another individual, it has nevertheless inspired many to follow their dreams.¹ Athena Carson decided to pursue her dream by enrolling in our business administration program. We are so proud of Athena for studying hard, graduating, and beginning the career she truly wanted. 

What You Learn in a Business Administration Program

For each graduate of a program, we highlight three different courses. During the program, Athena took courses such as: Microsoft Word, Transformational Leadership, and Marketing Management. 

In these courses, she learned about:

• Basic and advanced Word concepts such as creating, editing, and formatting documents; desktop publishing; customizing; and working with large documents
• The importance of a transformational leader who can lead change; engage employees; manage projects; coach employees; design effective structures and processes; and impact organizational culture and performance, whether the organization is publicly held, private, or not-for-profit
• Planning marketing strategies, connecting with customers, building strong brands, and delivering value
