Meet Dr. Cailyn Green

In January 2021, Cailyn Green, MS, Ph.D., CASAC became our addiction counseling technician program's lead instructor. We are proud to have her as a valued member of the Rockford Career College family.

With 8 years of education experience in both online and in-person capacities, Dr. Green is well-prepared to guide our students in becoming addiction counselors. Classes she has taught include Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Addiction Science, Forensic Psychology, Criminal Justice Research Methods, Social Psychology, and Criminology. She earned her Ph.D. in criminal justice with a focus on addiction counseling from Walden University. At Sage Graduate School, she completed her Master of Science degree in forensic mental health. Additionally, Dr. Green holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Western New England University.

Dr. Green is also a Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) out of the state of New York. This makes her a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) in the field of addiction, counseling, ethics, and case management. A very passionate instructor, Dr. Green supports her students on their career path of choice.
