Mayor Tom McNamara proclaims March 2021 Rockford Career College month.

P R O C L A M A T I O N

WHEREAS, Rockford Career College is the oldest career training college in Illinois, the 7th oldest in the nation, and the 5th oldest business listing in the city of Rockford; and

WHEREAS, the mission of Rockford Career College is to provide a relevant, well-rounded occupational education, to provide local employers with well-prepared graduate, and to server our community partners; and

WHEREAS, RCC currently offers 28 career training programs to students, and will soon be introducing more, including Auto Tech, Practical Nursing, Carpentry and Masonry; and

WHEREAS, Rockford Career College has serviced the citizens of Rockford for 160 years with quality education and training opportunities, and is committed to serving the community for many years to come;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, THOMAS P. MCNAMARA, as Mayor of the city of Rockford do hereby proclaim March 2021 to be:

“ROCKFORD CAREER COLLEGE MONTH”

in Rockford, Illinois and urge all citizens to take advantage of the education and training opportunities offered by Rockford Career College.
