Graduate Highlight - Thomas Cavanaugh - Welding

Thomas Cavanaugh is one Rockford Career College alumnus who made sure he was always primed for the right moment.

Mr. Cavanaugh enrolled at RCC to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a welding career. Inspired by instructor Mr. Mackey, he persevered in courses such as Thermal Cutting and Metal Preparation, SMAW Plate Certification, Professional Success Strategies, FCAW Plate, and more. Outside of school, he struggled with homelessness. However, he kept striving toward a better future and found his hard work to be rewarding.
