Wanting to serve pets and their families, she enrolled in our Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technician degree program. Her hard work and dedication to animals helped her graduate on the Dean's List. We are extremely proud of her for earning her degree and beginning the career of her dreams.

This Stellan Moreira quote encouraged Kerry Caldwell to develop more positive habits, such as studying to begin a new career.1 After enrolling in Rockford Career College's medical assistant program, Kerry put in a tremendous amount of effort to succeed in her classes. She graduated on our President's List with a 4.0 GPA.

“Okay, so let’s start with the basics. What is the first thing you want to know when setting up your OR?” Leslie looked at her student who was nervously trying to answer but stammering instead. “It’s ok honey. I know you are nervous, but you have been training for this for a while, so, you know the answer” she said with a slight smile. “What do you think you need to ask before even beginning to think about setting up your tray?” Leslie prodded. Ashley stared at her with confidence in her eyes and boldly stated, “You need to know if the doctor is left-handed or right-handed.”
"Keep pushing yourself to be the best you can be," says Rockford Career College graduate Rickyeshia Burnett. Even when Rickyeshia faced obstacles on the path to her ideal career, determination kept her moving forward. We are extremely proud of Rickyeshia for graduating from our welding program and starting a new career.
What You Learn in a Welding Program
For each graduate of a program, we highlight three different courses. During the program, Rickyeshia took courses such as: Thermal Cutting and Metal Preparation, GMAW Plate, and Professional Success Strategies.
