Meet Our Instructor - Deanna Young

Knowledgeable, adaptable, and reliable, Deanna is thankful to have a career that combines her two greatest passions: teaching and the medical field. She is a Certified Medical Assistant (NHA Certified) and holds an Associate in Applied Science degree from Rockford Career College. From July 2015 to November 2020, Deanna worked at Crusader Community Health and loved every second of it. Although the Women's Health Services Department was her primary area, she also gained experience in pediatrics, family practice, internal medicine, and walk-in care. Additionally, Deanna was selected as a preceptor for incoming students and new employees.
