“Find a job you love.” Many of us have heard this advice time and time again, but that's because it's sound advice. If you aren't passionate about what you do, you may not live up to your full potential or enjoy your success. That's why Rebecca pursued her love for animal science and turned it into a career.

Rebecca's compassionate nature and desire to help animals led her to become a certified veterinary technician. In 2010, she graduated from Fox College Vet Tech Institute. Rebecca has been working in the animal medical field for 11 years now, and she hasn't looked back. Rebecca has experience working in general, emergency/critical care, and specialty practices. Attending educational seminars is one of her favorite activities, as she loves to stay current in her field and give the best care possible. Rebecca is also Level 3 Fear Free Certified!

Soon, Rebecca realized how important it was to share her animal science knowledge. “A few years ago, I fell in love with the idea of educating those who chose to follow in the same dream I had,” Rebecca explains. She became Rockford Career College's veterinary technician program chair in order to fulfill this goal. “I use my skills currently to help train and develop strong technicians for our community,” she says.

If assisting animals is what you love, it's time to follow that career calling. Call 888.680.6682 or submit the Request Information form online to get started. You could learn from instructors who are just as dedicated to animals as you are!
