Meet Our Instructor - Kimberly Berry
With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Kimberly Berry is excited to help her students become central sterile processing technicians.
In 1992, Kimberly began her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Along her career journey, she obtained certifications in phlebotomy, cardiographic technology, medical information processing, and medication administration. In 2006, Kimberly earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in surgical technology from High-Tech Institute of Nashville, Tennessee. This degree allowed her to operate a surgical suite in gastrointestinal endoscopy. Later, Kimberly became nationally certified as a sterile processing and distribution technician. She regularly traveled across the United States to complete 13-week contracts in this capacity.
Today, Kimberly is proud to be part of the Rockford Career College family. She assists students with mastering critical skills such as: surgical instrumentation, high- and low-temperature sterilization, and management inventory control. Like all of our instructors, she genuinely wants to see you excel both academically and professionally.
Kimberly could help you earn your diploma in as little as ten months. Our central sterile processing technology program includes a hands-on externship and covers many topics such as microbiology, surgical instrumentation, and medical terminology. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
